Johanna's reflections

I was hosting a Bulgarian girl named Annie. It was a really fun experience and I’m very grateful for everything.

Before Annie arrived I was really nervous but when she finally got off the train in Lund I realized that I had nothing to worry about. We got

right away. During the week Annie and the others were here we had a lot of fun. We went ice skating, had a taco night, went to Lund and Malmö, learned a lot and made many new friends.

It was very fun to get to know everyone and to learn how people live in other countries than sweden.

Hosting was very fun because I got to show someone else how it is to live my life. It was a little weird at first because everything I think is normal was new to Annie. I think that it made me realize that I should appreciate just a regular day in life because it may be something super special if I were someone else.

I’m very greatful for this experience and I really look forward to go to Bulgaria and meet everyone again.
